Report on Procedures for Monitoring the Acoustic Quality of Large infrastructures

The acoustic quality of the road surface is an essential component in the generation of road traffic noise and the resulting noise exposure of the environment. This report presents the procedure for monitoring the acoustic quality of a road network and methodologies to process and interpret the monitoring data. It further presents CPX reference values that can be used to check compliance with expected surface quality, both in new and used condition.
